The Bolles School

The Bolles School is a private college preparatory school with an international reputation for excellence. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, the school enrolls more than 1,750 boarding and day students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 on four campuses: Upper School (9-12) – San Jose Campus Middle School (6-8) – Bartram Campus Lower School (PreK-5) – Ponte Vedra Beach & Whitehurst Campuses Bolles focuses on a complete education that emphasizes excellence in academics, the arts, athletics and other activities like clubs and community service. Students can pursue their interests and learn to balance a rich variety of activities. The Bolles School was founded as an all-boys military school in 1933. The original campus, now known as the San Jose Campus, is spread across 52 acres on the scenic banks of the St. John's River. The school dropped its military status in 1962 and began admitting girls in 1971. Today, it is one of the most distinguished college preparatory institutions in the nation.
