The Bone Museum

The Bone Museum is one of the only institutions in New York State dedicated exclusively to the study and public display of human osteology. We are open to the general public, as well as to medical students and universities across the Tri-State area. Our mission is to destigmatize the study of human bones by making osteology more accessible and engaging. Through a range of initiatives and educational campaigns, we raise awareness about public health, medical history, and the ethical sourcing of human remains. Whether you’re a curious visitor, a practicing clinician, or an academic researcher, The Bone Museum is a space where science, history, and anatomy intersect.
