Founder of The Boston Buddha, Andy's mission is to make meditation accessible to ordinary people, like himself, seeking a way to detach and recharge amidst life's hustle. Proudly considering himself a "regular guy," Andy reaches an audience that might not typically be drawn to meditation, making the practice approachable for everyone. Andy's journey in meditation is backed by a solid foundation, having studied under the guidance of Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. David Simon, co-founders of The Chopra Center and renowned experts in mind-body medicine. Currently certified as a Meditation Instructor for The Chopra Center, Andy is also a graduate of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School. An expert in the field of mindfulness, Andy leads meditations for top-notch companies such as Comcast NBC, FitBit, Yotel, Hill Holiday, Mass General Hospital, Shepley Bullfinch, Nixon Peabody Law, Deloitte, Thompson Reuters, Steward Health Care, Athena Health, and many others. Before dedicating himself to teaching meditation full-time, Andy spent 15 years as a broadcast news producer and director for the major news networks. Andy's mantra is simple:"Meditation for Everyone." His passion lies in teaching everyday people the transformative power of meditation, enabling them to boost productivity in their careers and find genuine happiness in their lives.
