The Bronx Bodega Llc

It all started with an Instagram page highlighting the people and positive activities happening in The Bronx, NYC. Through a love for our community, my family and I got involved in cleanups happening in various Bronx neighborhoods during the summer of 2020. This is where we realized the importance of being united. The final cleanup was orchestrated in Shoestring Park – The park where I learned to ride a bike, play baseball, football and get into the usual mischiefs young people encounter growing up in the Bronx. The bodega is every community's central hub - a place where everyone knows your name, where you've been and where you're going. The Bronx Bodega recognizes the importance of this neighborhood relic. From a spirit born in the early 80s, the mission of The Bronx Bodega is to capture everything great that The Bronx has been, is and will grow to be through fashion, art and culture to respectfully present it to the world. While we are currently connecting with the fashion and garment decorating industry, our plan is to expand into a tangible brick and mortar location where we can directly interact with our community. Our vision is to deliver Wakefield’s first Coffee bar where creatives, business owners, community members and leaders can come together to influence change. Until this vision is realized, we plan to cultivate relationships with local business and community leaders alike to work together toward implementing change to suit our community’s needs.
