THE BULK HOUSE started in 2017 as the first social enterprise in China promoting the zero waste life. In 2018, THE BULK HOUSE opened the first zero waste store on China's mainland. The social enterprise encourages people to consume rationally and responsibly, and advocates the unique business philosophy of "buy better, buy less, and use for a long time". They believe that living with the guidance of the 6 R's of zero waste (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle and Rot) will bring people more happiness and freedom to their lives. THE BULK HOUSE now has a new zero waste store in the heart of Beijing's hutongs, go check them out Tuesday to Sunday (10:00am - 7:00pm) at No.70 Beiluoguxiang (just 800 metres from the Drum and Bell Towers).
