The Buttafly

Designed by a physiotherapist the Buttafly offers an innovative system of self-care for the spine. For many people, the "spine" has become synonymous with "back pain". There are several key reasons for this (and, likely, less obvious ones) but the upshot is that they have created a detrimental diversion away from any understanding of the spine as an instrument of health. At the same time, the global burden of back pain continues to rise. Many people are suffering in silence, with no clue as to how to help themselves, and living in fear of their prognosis. In 2020, low back pain affected 619 million people globally. It is the single leading cause of disability worldwide. “In working with such clients, the Buttafly Technique has proven more consistently effective than anything I used in my 30-year career as a physio.
