The CAP Projects (CAP) is a community-based initiative committed to addressing and eradicating inequities and prejudicial systematic social practices in education. CAP stands for Community and Parents. We fully understand the relational dynamics between our communities and families. Our work helps educational institutions who serve marginalized communities recognize and appreciate the capacity and opportunity barriers for families who may need to advocate for their children, in any scope or space. The work we do fosters a larger conversation with actionable approaches on how systems of education can help eradicate long-standing, problematic, inequitable and biased practices.
