THE SHORT STORY Los Angeles native who transplanted to San Francisco in late 2012 and immersed himself in the San Francisco music scene. A diverse tastemaker with selections inspired by Funky Soulful Classics, Indie Dance Jams, Feel Good Hip Hop, Deep House & everything in-between. Affiliated with the DJ duo Coco Tree and holding residencies throughout the city of San Francisco. Making waves at festivals, nightclubs & private events year round. Working with live musicians, Horn players and percussionists; adding spice to the traditional DJ performance. Additionally, The Captain Hat has had the opportunity to play on the same bill with organizations and artists such as Redbull, Puma, USA Americas Cup, Questlove, Gigamesh, Holy Ghost, Pretty Lights, Flying Lotus, Beats Antique, The Pharcyde, Matoma, SNBRN, Dirt Nasty, Cut Chemist, Christian Martin, Twitter, Dreamforce, Salesforce, Bluewolf, Sea Of Dreams 2015, GhostShip 2014, Academy of Sciences & much more
