We’ve built a marketplace between drivers and mechanics where the hardest part of car repair, the diagnosis, is offloaded from the mechanic, automated, and moved completely online. Drivers with broken cars come to our website, answer a few questions about their car, our proprietary algorithm tells them what's wrong, get quotes from local vetted shops, book and save 50%. Mechanics are more efficient and make more money. It is also much easier for them to specialize on certain types of repairs (since it’s already diagnosed). By specializing, we’ve decreased mechanic’s capital costs (in both training and tools) to start their own business by 10x. We’ve diagnosed more than cars, our algorithm is 82% accurate, more than 100 shops and independent mechanics are signed up.
