The Cedar Door

The Cedar Door is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. Most notably we are highly resilient and stake our claim as:"The Most Transient Bar in North America." We began serving Austinites in 1975 and since have moved locations four times; all the while, simultaneously inventing and perfecting the World Famous Mexican Martini. Today, we reside at 2nd and Brazos St. in downtown Austin and feature a menu that could be described as American Cuisine but is clearly rooted and defined as "Authentically Austin." We make our living off unique, artistic, and most importantly, delicious food and hand crafted cocktails with deep Texan roots. Nevertheless, we hold true to our Austin foundation in maintaining our role as Austin's own neighborhood bar that just happens to be located in the heart of the city.
