A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles"- Christopher Reeve It is the belief of the CiaO Foundation that anyone can be a hero. Our aim is to provide aid, funding, practical support and encouragement to individuals whose life circumstances, health or injuries have resulted in them facing seemingly insurmountable challenges and help them achieve their goals. The CiaO Foundation is a charitable trust that – since it’s inception in 2016 – has supported many individuals in improving their futures, helping them to face the challenges of serious adversity, including paralysis, mental ill-health and life-changing injuries and, with the unique CiaO Awards we provide, enable them to find opportunity and face new challenges.
