The Coalition is a 3-piece progressive blues-rock band, formed in 2009, with an idea to create innately original and thought provoking music. As a rock trio rooted in the blues and coloured with sounds of funk, jazz and alternative music, The Coalition strives to explore and expand musical boundaries, write original music and experiment with sound. With a wide variety of influences, it is difficult to place The Coalition into one musical genre. The music of the Coalition is a true testament to their driving ambition – to create a movement of organic music that harmonizes with individuals through the uniting power of sound.
