The Cohort Ca

The Cohort was started with a motive to bring in a lifestyle change among the CA fraternity in the form of various weekend getaways, adventurous trips, networking events and business hackathons (this is often seen in MBAs alumni groups which gives them the step up advantage of networking, job referrals, establishing new startups and much more.) We believe our initiative will be instrumental in giving a huge edge in terms of establishing a interactive learning environment, learning the art of adapting to real life & impromptu scenarios, networking among peers, job referrals etc. We have successfully organized and implemented the following for our CA community (for which the response was humongous): Events conducted : Massive New year Party with over 200 people participating from different parts of Tamil Nadu.(DJ Music, Live Music band, Talent Battle and Fashion Walk) Business Hackathon and cultural fest were over 80 Chartered Accountants and CA students participated. The Case study round was judged by Partners from Big4 and CFOs of Listed Companies. A Gamified version of networking event at Gameistry, Chennai (40+ newly qualified CAs participated) Weekend getaway to Surf and Music festival at Kovalam, Mahabalipuram. Have been regularly conducting ( for over 4 months, i.e, from the time we started this iniative) Weekly Badminton, Table tennis, Football and Cricket events consistently. Trips Completed : Rendezvous to the heavenly land of the gods - Bali, Indonesia Frosty skating in Manali, Himachal and Paragliding in Bir Billing Adventurous and daring activities in Rishikesh, Uttarkand Jungle stay and Kudremukh Trek in Chikmagalur, Karnataka Mountain and river treks in Kotagiri, Tamilnadu
