Betsy Karp is a Health and Wellness Counselor, with certifications from Columbia University's Teacher's College and The Institute of Integrative Nutrition in Health Counseling. She is also certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Betsy uses her knowledge of health counseling and color theory as a motivational speaker, author, and Color Coach. Color affects our moods and attitudes. Science has proven that each color stimulates different neurons in the brain that affect a wide array of things including a person’s emotional state, the ability to detect movement, and even one's appetite. A Color Coach, like Betsy Karp, applies her knowledge on color to her life counseling practice with the goal of helping people understand how color can be used as a tool to strengthen themselves emotionally and psychologically.
