The Commons Hotel

The Commons Hotel is conveniently located next to downtown Minneapolis on the University of Minnesota campus, combining the energy of an international university setting with the accessibility and attributes of a major city. The hotel features 304 guestrooms and suites, an on-premise Starbucks, and our restaurant, The Beacon Public House showcasing refined, locally inspired menus. Boasting more than square feet of redesigned meeting space, The Commons Hotel accommodates a variety of functions, from black tie events and weddings to intimate gatherings and larger conventions. The Commons Hotel has just completed a $15 million dollars renovation of our guestrooms and meeting space in January of 2013, and we have been awarded the prestigious Fodor’s 100 Hotel Award for unique and inspired hotels.
