The Communication Game
The Communication Game is a response to the fact that a lot of training doesn't make as much difference as it could and should. So we've come at IC professional development differently by setting it up as a game, of three Matches. In Match A you get to decide if you want to play our game, by seeing if you recognise the sorts of issues we can help you solve (eg not having enough budget, or approvals processes going round in circles) In Match B you can set yourself up to win – using up to 50 free downloads. You play it in 3 rounds. Round 1 is all about rethinking the very paradigm all of us (including your leadership team) have inherited from our predecessors. No one’s to blame for this inheritance, but it’s likely holding everyone back. So we show you and your bosses how to rethink the very rules of the game you’re all playing, so everybody can win.(We’ve produced parallel learning tools for your leadership team: pdfs they can read and/or mp3s they can listen to.) In Round 2 we help you put together a complete wish-list for everything you’ll need to win by those new rules.
