The Communicator

Hi, I am Evi Kerckhoffs and I am a freelance social media manager and copywriter. For several years now, I have helped companies and organizations set up an extensive, feasible social media plans with which they can achieve their business goals. These goals vary from creating brand awareness to getting customers or a better bond with existing customers. I also work as a copywriter helping companies and organizations write blogs, newsletters, website texts and other textual content. My passion for communication is what makes my work stand out. I am eager to keep my knowledge up-to-date so I can give my clients the best service. Next to working as a freelancer, I study Communication Science at the Radboud University in the Netherlands. This is the perfect environment for me to keep expanding my knowledge on communications. I have also chosen to focus more on the pro-social aspect of this amazing discipline. This way, I can better help organizations and companies that want to better their world. Communication is everywhere and plays a crucial role in how people perceive an organization or a cause and if they are motivated to participate in an event. I believe that it is up to us, communication professionals, to do our part in using these techniques for the better. I graduated as a junior communication professional in July 2020, at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven in the Netherlands. In my studies I learned to master different aspects of communication like creating a brand strategy, writing a communication plan or dealing with intercultural relations. I also gained experience in Mexico and the United States. These experiences have taught me how to become more aware of cultural differences. I learned to work in a hectic environment, by graduating during the COVID-19 pandemic in a foreign country. Even in this hectic situation, I managed to win the prize for best thesis of the bachelor program 2020. This shows my perseverence and eye for detail.
