The Connections Bus Project

The vision of our charity is to inspire young people in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas to fulfil their potential by providing easy access to recreational, educational and personal development opportunities in an informal atmosphere. This is carried out on a mixture of drop-in youth facilities including double-decker buses, and community building based. They provide a place to meet, relax and experience a range of positive and challenging activities. Activities available include • computers, internet, consoles, crafts and sports. • themed evenings on sexual health, alcohol awareness and healthy eating etc. • information and advice in the form of leaflets, board games, quizzes • youth workers to listen to and offer advice to the young people. We also run 10 week courses in babysitting, intergenerational work and Youth work.
