The Cooper Research Group

The Cooper Research Group was founded in 1996 by Dr George William Cooper. Having worked in the financial markets for over three decades, previously holding senior management positions within large banking corporations and a number of leading financial organisations during his career. As an economist by profession, specialising in risk management, Dr Cooper had observed the common and growing disparity between the accurate, powerful information being expected by large financial institutions, and the inferior quality of information being made available to smaller investors, either because of timing or substance. This realisation prompted him to establish The Cooper Research Group, with the simple objective of being able to satisfy the informational and data requirements of both the institutional and later on, the private investor. Achieving this by allowing both SME businesses together with private investors to avail themselves the information/data sources which would allow ‘private investors’ to trade effectively within the world’s capital markets, without being at a disadvantage. The Cooper Research Group now has an enviable institutional client list, which includes many of the world’s leading financial managers, who continue to receive detailed first-hand financial reports on anticipated stock movements within the world’s major capital markets. Success has followed on from the creation of this leading, bespoke service, that not only provides institutions and financial experts with required information, but since 2010, also allows even the most inexperienced investors to be able utilise our information and expertise in a way that provides the help and guidance necessary to help people to properly manage their own investment portfolios.
