The Corn Islands Virtual Library
The Corn Islands Virtual Library is a community project that aims to preserve the heritage of the Corn Islands in Caribbean Nicaragua through research, compilation of records, and communication materials. Established as a non-profit project under the STS Initiative in August 2021, the library was officially launched to the public on 1 May 2023. The primary goal of this initiative is to serve academic purposes and safeguard the historical, cultural, visual, and audiovisual heritage of both Great Corn Island and Little Corn Island, ensuring that the knowledge and resources related to the islands' past are freely accessible to current and future generations.
