The De Ferrers Trust

Following on from 10 years as a specialist Technology College, de Ferrers became an Academy in January 2012. It has grown into a large, split-site, co-educational institution catering for the full range of students from ages 11-18. In 2015 The de Ferrers Academy became a Multi Academy Trust (MAT). In May 2016, three of our partner primary schools converted to academies within the Trust; Horninglow Primary, Lansdowne Infant and Eton Park Junior Academies. During 2017, we were pleased to welcome The Pingle Academy and Granville Academy into our Trust as secondary partnersThe de Ferrers Trust is a mixed multi-academy trust based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. The trust currently consists of seven schools (three secondaries and four primaries). The trust educates approximately children and young people between the ages of 3 and 19 and employs over 600 members of staff. Our visions is that all children and young people in our care have the opportunity to fulfil their potential through achieving highly, regardless of their ability or background. At The de Ferrers Trust we promote our values of work hard, be kind and choose wisely in all that we do. These are promoted through all of our academies and our students are ambassadors of these values.
