The Duster Dollies

The Duster Dollies was a franchised booking agency for residential cleaning. The Head Office was in Canberra ACT. After nearly thirty-years of service, The Duster Dollies closed its doors and the franchisees kept their businesses under their own name. The Duster Dollies was the first Agency to train its cleaners, and give a visual quote of time. Cleaning or Hygiene Managing is a difficult job and unless the property is seen, the number of hours suggested for the job can be completely wrong. Not having enough time to do a perfect clean, means the cleaner is stressed, the customer is not happy and what started as an exciting venture, ends up a huge disappointment. Having reached the ripe age of eighty I decided the time had come to bring The Duster Dollies' to an end. Julie Finch-Scally still writes books about cleaning: her most recent book being:'Stinking Cleaning' written especially for the 18-24 year old's who need support in many areas of housekeeping and keeping a property clean. And, Julie still helps out on radio and television with queries about how, when and why to clean. Thirty years of service in the same industry is rare, but in this case it was rewarding. Julie imparted knowledge, learned herself, and created a business she was proud of. To all the many friends she made during her years running The Duster Dollies, she is grateful for their assistance and is still here for them when needed.
