The Emerald Collection

The Emerald Collection is an Italian owned group of luxury all-inclusive properties across East Africa and the Indian Ocean, it was officially launched in 2013. The group is headed by the Italian Scarapicchia family with over 40 years’ experience in the luxury hospitality industry. The Scarapicchia Group with its background in skiing tours and winter holidays in the 1980s, soon began constructing and managing luxury resorts in Kenya and Zanzibar before expanding to Mexico and the Caribbean. Today the Emerald Collection benefits from the family’s decades of experience in luxury travel and hospitality. Since 2013, The Emerald Collection has opened The Dream of Zanzibar, the Hideaway of Nungwi Resort & Spa in Tanzania and the Emerald Maldives Resort & SPA in the Maldives. The group has the aim to target guests seeking five-star, luxury holidays and are renowned for their exceptional service, facilities and authenticity and announced new openings in Maldives and Zanzibar in 2022!
