The Energy Wizard Book

The Energy Wizard is an illustrated children’s book about renewable energy created in collaboration with AREAS, a non-profit from Colorado. It's focus is to help kids learn how to Get Energy from the Sun and Save Energy for the Earth. Energy choices and how we treat the earth will be important decisions kids will soon have to make. The Kickstarter will finance the illustration, printing and distribution of the book. We hope to provide a beautiful hardcover free, to as many school libraries as possible. Jeremy is a music student at a performing arts school called ‘The Conservatory.’ He is trying to find ways to help his school save money. Jeremy and his friends Sophia and Jacob meet The Energy Wizard, a proponent of 'light science.' The Wizard takes them on a tour of the neighborhood to find ways to save money on energy. Energy Superheros - Kid Savings, Calora, and Solar Electric Girl demonstrate how to get energy and save energy at houses in the neighborhood. Dark Energy - a cold dark swirling tornado that freezes everything in it's path, is after the kids. The Wizard and the Superheros help protect Jeremy, Sophia, and Jacob. A final battle determines the fate of the kids, the Conservatory, and the Neighborhood.
