To put a face on prostate Cancer in the District of Columbia and the DC metropolitan area- To provide free screening and educational services to African American male residents, the under served, and the working poor- To elevate the health concerns of African American Men living in the Washington DC area to the attention of the Professional Health Community and providers. The Faces Project, is committed to Prevention. Getting men screened early and frequently is the core strategy; through outreach, education, and advocacy. With your support, we can make a difference. Given the existing health disparities, The Faces Project has a unique sensitivity to African American men, inner-city urban populations, and the underserved. As a Survivor-Organization, The Faces Project is committed to assisting survivors, building a support network, and helping to restore self-confidence, and purpose in the lives of those men who share this experience.
