The Fat Ham
Located in Philadelphia’s University City neighborhood, The Fat Ham is a pork-centric restaurant drawing inspiration from Southern country cooking by Chef Kevin Sbraga. The Fat Ham’s menu showcases Chef Sbraga’s interpretation of Southern ingredients, cuisine, and culinary traditions. The cocktail menu brings the spirit of the South to the glass with a seasonal julep and sweet tea offered on tap. The space evokes the rustic look and feel of a countryside home with an eclectic collection of glasses, tableware, chairs, and artwork. Chef Sbraga was the winner of Bravo’s seventh season of “Top Chef” and received the award for “Best Meat Presentation” in the 2008 Bocuse d’Or USA culinary competition. His eponymous restaurant, Sbraga, has been recognized by Esquire magazine as a “Best New Restaurant” and as one of Philadelphia magazine’s “Best Restaurants of 2013.”
