Our Principles: The fundamental pronciples of prevention and intervention guide our approach. Whanau wellbeing starts within a safe home environment, promotes healthy individuals, empowers to achieve, is inclusive and protective, is free from discrimination, has a strength-based approach. The concepts of Wairuatanga, Aroha, Tikanga, and Manaakitanga can be used to define The Fatimah Foundation's fundamental principals as well as our values that are sacrosanct and upheld within the framework of The Fatimah Foundation's kaupapa. Our Vision: Kotahitanga: To live in harmony as one community while working to ensure equity, self-determination, and belonging for every person in Aotearoa, New Zealand. In an environment of cohesion, that strengthens the building blocks that all multi-cultural, pan-ethnic, and Muslim whanau to safeguard and advance thier spiritual, cultural, health, education, and economic aspirations. Our Mission: We strive to safeguard the collective taonga of Wairuatanga - spiritually, Manaakitanga - care and respect, Whanaungatanga - connections and belongs for the benefit of the present and furture generations by giving people the toold they need to feel safe i their homes and secure in the community is a priority. To enhance people's lives by providing them with fulfilling experiences that promote social harmony, respect for differences, equity, and raising future generations free from harm.
