The Folkestone Bookshop

The Folkestone Bookshop is an independent bookshop located on Tontine Street in our lovely seaside town in Kent. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive space for nurturing new readers, invigorating lifelong bookworms, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone. The shop is run and owned by Erin, Hunter and Jay, three avid readers with many years professional experience in the bookselling and publishing industry. We are a resource for radical, diverse, and interesting books, and also a space to host writing workshops, book launches, poetry readings, and many more community events. We are all queer and trans, so the shop is a safe space for anyone and everyone. Pop down and say hello!
