Hi! My name is Jess and my love affair with food began more than 15 years ago as I endeavored to move past scrambled eggs & ramen and on to healthy, innovative and delicious meals. Some of my most favorite moments in life have been spent in the kitchen with family and friends, around the table with loved ones (new and old), trying new dishes in different cities and from different cultures. There is an excitement I cannot contain when I’m in the kitchen, fumbling through recipes, learning new techniques and watching the pros so effortlessly do their thing. Any given Sunday, you’ll find me curled up on the couch, reading a cookbook from cover to cover like some trashy romance novel. The Freckled Fork is all about the communal dining experience.in homes, in restaurants, around the table. There’s always an empty seat at my table….pull up a chair.
