The Freedom Foundation, Inc

We perform research and development in assistive technologies to make homes more adaptive and intelligent. Our goal is to deliver solutions that enables persons with disabilities; the elderly; and those living with debilitating, chronic illness to live a fuller and more independent life. We aim to empower these individuals via tailored technological solutions. The Freedom Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit founded by a team of US military veterans with diverse backgrounds relevant to this mission. We have engineers, medical professionals, analysts, and a network of additional professionals. We have found that there are many disparate, smart technologies in the market. However, few of them are designed with disabilities in mind. Fewer still are designed to work together or part of a holistic system. Our organization focuses on integrating these technologies into intelligent solutions that provide the special value needed by our community.
