The Freedom Room

The Freedom Room offers a proven approach to recovery from alcohol addiction together with compassion and understanding. No one should have to walk the recovery journey alone, together we are stronger – The Freedom Room cares about people, not profit. Alcoholism does not discriminate based on race, economic status, age, religious beliefs, education, or gender. There is still a stigma that alcoholics are somehow less than others, which is not valid. Those with successful jobs and clean records are not exempt. Negative stereotyping of individuals with alcoholism can leave people in denial, believing that alcoholics are those who drink as soon as they wake up and continue drinking until they pass out. They may also think that alcoholics be homeless, are estranged from their families, and drink cheap cider or wine. I am living proof that is not the case What is different about me? I can help you through experience and not only what I have learned from a textbook, I have been in recovery for over 9 years. I can offer you my experience, strength, and hope and walk with you through your journey. You are not alone, and you will learn that you are powerless over alcohol – but not over your life.
