The Future Farmers Foundation
At the Future Farmers Foundation, we are dedicated to a singular mission: empowering the disadvantaged youth of South Africa who have a passion for agriculture. Through our carefully curated programs, we aim to equip individuals with both the technical skills and soft skills necessary for their personal and professional growth. Future Farmers places learners on farms through an apprenticeship system for a minimum of 12 months of practical experience, supported by mentorship. Post apprenticeship, an international internship opportunity exists for those who have excelled in their development. Through this fully-supported journey, Future Farmers aims to help produce high-level agricultural skills that are needed in South Africa to address food security and youth unemployment.
