The Gold Disc was established in 2002 and became a Limited Company in July 2003. The company manufactures replica and plated vinyl discs, CD and DVD presentations for online gift companies and a very varied mix of corporate customers. ONLINE GIFT COMPANIES: Over the last 10 years we have become the leading suppliers of music presentations into several online gift houses including Getting Personal, The Gift Experience, Personalised Gift Shops to name a few, we offer a complete fulfilment service by manufacturing and shipping the disc directly to their customers. The most popular presentations through the gift houses are for events like Birthday No.1’s and wedding anniversaries. CORPORATE CUSTOMERS We have produced discs in varying numbers for several high calibre clients including a one-off disc that featured the signature of Sir Richard Branson being sent to the head of Virgin Mobile in Qatar to 3,500 discs produced over a 3 month period for Live Nation’s VIP packages. We have worked (either directly or via a marketing agency) with – Hugo Boss, Virgin, Jack Daniels, Rolls Royce, Absolute Radio, BBC Radio 2 & 6 Music, The Radio Centre Hard Rock Calling and Café and numerous independent radio stations. We have created awards for artist management companies and music organisations including; BPI, IFPI and PRS, some of the artists: Jamie Cullum, Depeche Mode, Roger Waters (Pink Floyd), Madness and Mark Knopfler. Also our discs have been used by several west end shows; The Jersey Boys, Dreamboats and Petticoats, We Will Rock You and Woman in White. OTHER SITES In addition to the main ‘The Gold Disc’ site we have a spin-off site which specifically targets wedding and anniversaries and which specialises in licensed music gifts.
