The Good Foundation

The Good Foundation was established in 2010 as Australia’s premiere food education charity foundation, with a passion and drive for enabling improved health through programs and projects that specifically address the day to day challenges that affect individuals and community groups. Jamie’s Ministry of Food is one of The Good Foundation’s key programs that educates, empowers and inspires individuals to love and enjoy good food through cooking. The program teaches individuals how to cook, how to understand the origin of food and how to recognise the importance of good food on health, happiness and finances. Deakin University and the University of Melbourne have demonstrated that participants of Jamie’s Ministry of Food eat more vegetables and eat less highly processed takeaway foods for in excess of six months after completing the program.
