The Grape Community

The Grape Community stems from the corporate responsibility leg of the table grape exporter, The Grape Company as well as Stems Fruit, a stone fruit and fresh fig exporter. In 2009 it was decided to establish an umbrella company to fund and manage community projects independently. TGComm is a registered Non-Profit (Section 21 A) Company with a Sec 18 (registration at SARS and therefore donors may use their receipts for tax exemption Annual Financial statements are audited by an independent company SDK auditor. We, as TGComm have a heart for the community around us and exist to take this passion to the people not to only support from a distance, but to get involved in their daily lives Together we build, work, educate, care, and play in doing so we not only uplift the community we serve, but we allow them to impact us as well. Our main focus is the educational and emotional development of children in the surrounding areas of TGC and Stems farms, but are not restricted to them. We strive to create leaders for the upcoming generation, to unfold the burning potential in each child to their fullest Children’s potential should not be restricted to their role models or environment.
