The Grove Crete

THE GROVE is an award-winning green startup currently looking for investors. But first and foremost, it is a declaration of love to Crete, to its natural beauty and its hospitable people. Our small eco hotel is set to open in 2023 and wants to set the tone for a new type of tourism in the Mediterranean – being at the center of a local "community economy" and combining high-quality services with environmental, cultural and economic sustainability. It will be the first certified zero-energy-hotel on the island. At THE GROVE you will have the choice between four rooms, each individually appointed and lightly themed after Greek deities of nature. Local artwork adorns the rooms, which are naturally cooled, heated, ventilated and insulated. The artificial river stream in front of the guest units cools the interior spaces and invites guests to enjoy a bath in privacy. Start your days with an organic breakfast sourced from our own garden. Explore local sites, traditions, flora and fauna on an electric scooter, join us on one of our thematic tours, or learn how to create natural products from local experts. You may prefer enjoying the calmness of THE GROVE, relaxing in the sun which powers the entire property via the latest solutions in solar technology. Olive trees are a symbol of longevity, as they weather storms and droughts through the centuries. They even grow in saltwater. Your love is as strong as the olive tree? Once we are up and running, you can contact us about our wedding package. We have reserved the oldest and most beautiful tree in our grove as the location for your promise to each other. Invite your friends and family to this occasion and celebrate your love on our property. In the shadow of the olives and with a view of the endless sea, you will make memories that will remain with you ever after.
