The Harrelson Center

The Harrelson Center is a nonprofit center that supports and partners with other nonprofit organizations in the Wilmington community. The center works with its partners to meet the needs of the community such as safe and affordable housing, education, employment, health care and family support. The center recognizes the critical needs of others and encourages, uplifts and assists them in rebuilding their lives through the services provided at the center. Support is provided to our partners through the coordination of collaborative fundraising, education and shared expenses. The Center provides below-market rental rates and free utilities for its partners. The Center coordinates social and educational opportunities, promotes its partners services to the community and provides volunteer recruitment. This synergistic environment allows all of the nonprofits to operate more efficiently and better utilize their funding.
