The Holt Bolt isn’t just a service provider - it’s a community, a movement, and a symbol of hope. Our dream is for every Bolter to discover their passion and purpose, and to live a meaningful life filled with connection, independence, and opportunity. The Holt Bolt is a purpose-driven movement, founded in 2013 by Richard Holt with a simple vision: to create opportunities for people of all abilities to achieve their goals and thrive. What began as a fundraising mud run to support Mimi’s House soon evolved into something much bigger. After Richard began working alongside Jacko, a young man living with Autism and an Intellectual Impairment, a new pathway emerged - one built on trust, adaptability, and meaningful connection. That story sparked a movement that continues to inspire and empower communities across Queensland today. From just one young person, The Holt Bolt has grown to support more than 1,200 young people with additional needs, operating Allied Health and Employment Supports across five locations: Chermside West, Caboolture, Clontarf, Mt Gravatt, Hervey Bay, and a satellite site at Aspley Special School.
