There is a huge difference between being good at what you do, and making money doing it. In other words, your expertise by itself is not valuable. What makes it valuable is when someone buys it from you! So unless you know how to package your expertise, and communicate the value of what you do effectively, to potential clients interested in what you have to offer, who are willing to pay you for that expertise, then there’s a good chance you will continue to struggle. Just about everything I create is aimed at helping solo and career professionals, non-profit leaders and small business entrepreneurs do these things. I believe that if we focus on the core essence of who we are and those who work with us, we can all prosper, sharing the gifts we’ve been given in service of a greater good.
