The I Will Project

A COMMUNITY MOVEMENT The I WILL Project aims to saturate the community with informed, trusted and trained leaders who are willing and able to help those experiencing a mental health crisis. OUR MISSION is to prevent suicide through community training and connection to resources, with one symbol of help (our "I WILL" symbol) as a visual sign of hope. OUR VISION is to bridge the gap between those who need services and those who provide services by educating and engaging the public as to signs and symptoms of suicidal ideation and how to have those crucial conversations that lead to professional connections. Through The I WILL Project, professionals and community organizations will be engaged from the ground up - reviewing policies, providing training for trusted resources, educating the greater community and destigmatizing the idea that "no one cares" through visual and verbal confirmation. Those that complete our personalized training course and take the I WILL Project Pledge will receive the I WILL Project stamp of approval, so that they're easily visually identifiable to those in need.
