The ICMIF Foundation was established by ICMIF and incorporated in 2015 as a registered charity in England and Wales (No. 1179919 to provide low-income communities a safety net to prevent them from slipping into extreme poverty through the provision of microinsurance cover and other risk reduction measures. Currently over 3 million low-income households are covered by microinsurance and many more are accessing risk prevention and reduction services supported by The ICMIF Foundation.
