The Island School

Located on Cape Eleuthera, The Bahamas, The Island School provides a transformative experience for all who come here. With a focus on conservation, sustainability, and experiential education informed by world-class research, we develop responsible citizens and future leaders who can ensure a more sustainable future for our planet. The Island School functions as an edusystem - an ecosystem of programs working with the same vision of “leadership effecting change.” We run a variety of programs including our High School Semester & Summer Term, the Deep Creek Middle School, the Elementary Learning Center and the Cape Eleuthera Institute. Whether you're an educator, student, scientist or engineer, you'll work and learn side by side with others across our community, united in a common purpose to develop leaders who inspire and drive change as responsible stewards of our environment.
