The Islander Magazine

The Islander” magazine is the ONLY monthly, English language magazine dedicated to yachting. We provide news and information for the yachting industry in the entire Western Mediterranean region. We have a regular monthly readership of over and have just launched a brand new website, Facebook page and Twitter account (@islandermag). The magazine was founded in 1997, in Palma de Mallorca, initially as a newsletter for the nautical industry. Palma is still the home of The Islander, but it has since grown into a 150 page, full colour, quality magazine, often referred to as “The Bible”. The Islander is distributed throughout the Western Med, by our own dedicated team of distributors, thus eliminating any wastage. We include articles of interest on all aspects of the yachting industry from regattas to shipbuilding, crewing to financing. We cover Spain and further afield, thus widening the appeal for both readers and advertisers. The Islander actively supports, appears and distributes copies at the most of the major yachting events in the Western Mediterranean.
