The Jar

Using an innovative "Convener Model" that creates some of the most diverse, inclusive, and engaged audiences, The Jar is building a cultural community at the intersection of equity, relationships, and art. As the work unfolds, we've been making particularly great strides on the governance front - our board is 80% BIPOC, 50% Black, 30% foreign-born first-generation American, 50% under 45, and 75% under household income which extends, naturally, to our constituent base.
