The Jazz Bar

The Jazz Bar is a universally appealing, multi-award winning basement live music venue. We host a unique mix of outstanding, ever-changing, multi-genre music presented nightly in a stylishly comfortable environment with an ever-present exciting, creative buzz. There’s always interesting music on stage, a great mix of people, and an extensive and eclectic bar selection with friendly service to match so we attract audiences looking for quality in all respects. Coming down the stairs is a very broad demographic of people (18-80!), a diverse assortment of visitors, locals, students and musicians. The music is non-stop - three or four gigs per day, seven days a week, every week, every month, all year round. Don’t be fooled by the name! In over 10 years of existence, we have evolved into a UK-revered haven not only for great Jazz, but also excellent Funk, Blues, Acoustic, Roots and more. A small cover charge may apply which goes towards the musicians.
