The Lazy Duck

We are Valery and David with a 3 hectare (6 acre) organically evolved homestead in the CAIRNGORMS NATIONAL PARK of Northern Scotland. Here, since 1974, we welcome visitors to a mountain hut style 8 bed hut hostel, 3 bespoke eco huts for couples and a 4 pitch summer lightweight camping ground. Here, guests love to live among Soay sheep with lambs, a pond full of waterfowl, a scatter of hens, flower and vegetable garden with summer salads growing polytunnel, plus Django the attentive spaniel. Rachel, who is moving on later this year having helped us greatly towards our planning for the future from Hawkes Bay, NZ is our one year contract manager/consultant and she organises most things here. We are currently looking for a Business and Operations Manager to start end of July. Later in the year we will also be looking for an Assistant Manager.
