The Learning Convergence

We provide one-on-one reading, comprehension, spelling, and writing instruction to students in grades K-12. Since 1986, Director Therese FitzRandolph of The Learning Convergence has been serving students grades K-12 with literacy and learning difficulties throughout San Diego County. The Learning Convergence was founded when it was realized that despite school's efforts to boost reading scores, there was a large population of average to above-average students with reading problems whose needs were not being met in the traditional classroom, special ed classrooms, or through standard tutoring techniques. For this reason, The Learning Convergence is dedicated to providing a very personalized and nurturing environment for learning, which we believe is fundamental in creating successful learners. No matter what a student's past educational background has been, our program’s processes have enabled many children to gain the necessary skills to become independent and accomplished students.
