Learning Together's research-based interventions use the power of peer teaching to create positive - even amazing - changes in students and schools. Learning Together is a private company with corporate headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina. Our mission is to help children raise achievement in reading and math; become engaged in their learning communities; develop 21st Century skills that foster long-term success; and build emotional resiliency and strength of character that will enrich their lives and communities. We provide highly effective supplemental and intervention programming for grades two through high school, backed by the best customer support team in the field! Learning Together combines the best practices of peer mentoring, peer tutoring and peer teaching by pairing two struggling students in a rigorous, structured and research-based learning relationship. Working together, both students repair academic deficits, achieve proficiency and build the social and emotional skills vital for lifelong learning. Our reading and math interventions align with foundational knowledge and higher-level critical thinking required by Common Core, TEKS, SOL and other state standards. Students achieve far more than improved test scores – because lessons integrate social, emotional and behavioral coaching, they learn to participate fully in their own education.
