The Listening Lab

Listening Lab trains the brain to process sensory, cognitive and emotional information more effectively with iLs. iLs stands for "Integrated Listening Systems", a U.S. based company located in Denver, CO. The company was founded in 2007; and is an early pioneer in the application of sound and movement for therapeutic purposes. iLs is a multi-sensory program for improving brain function. iLs programs provide high quality processed music through specialty designed headphones. iLs uses music and movement, and then gradually integrates language and cognitive processes. The exercises appear simple but become increasingly difficult as the music gradually filters out and eliminates lower sound frequencies. The remaining high frequencies create a stimulating effect on the brain, allowing the brain to attend and process new information more efficiently. The program involves no computers or screens of any type. iLs programs improve emotional regulation and cognitive functioning while training the brain to process sensory information in a profound new way.
