The Lyfnode Foundation

LyfNode is a foundation in India aimed at connecting the privileged to the underprivileged. Established during the nationwide lock-down with the hope of helping those in need; we are currently associated with 4 NGOs and are soon to partner with more. The core functions that our foundation lies upon are “sponsoring someone” which requires us to approach NGOs that take care of underprivileged people and ask for the data of said people. The visitors can then scroll through the ‘sponsor someone’ page and donate to the people they want. The next function is “employing someone”, seeing that many people have been displaced from their jobs indefinitely due to the lockdown, we decided to create resumes for the underprivileged in NGOs looking for employment. Visitors on our website can scroll through these resumes and request employment. From there, the LyfNode foundation begins the employment process, hoping to place the underprivileged applicants in no more than 2 weeks. Our third function is “COVID-19 relief” this entails just general donation that people want to make to foundations that donate food/resources to anyone in need.
